The International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA) is the largest international organization for pediatric nephrologists and allied professionals. One of its significant contributions to the nephrology community is to provide conference opportunities to promote education and scientific exchange. The next of its tri-annual meeting will be held on 8/30-9/1/2013 in Shanghai. Pediatric nephrologists in China have worked diligently to be recognized and awarded to host the first ever IPNA meeting in China. CRRT 2014, the 19th International Conference - Acute Kidney Injury: Controversies, Challenges and Solutions, Advances in Critical Care CRRT 2014 conference March 4-7, 2014 in San Diego, CA. (International Conference on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies).
The CRRT Conference continues to provide a comprehensive coverage of the rapidly developing field of Critical Care Nephrology and CRRT. It highlights the recent advances in our understanding of pathophysiology of critical illness, acute kidney injury, emerging strategies in the management of sepsis, multiorgan failure, development and use of biomarkers, technical advances in CRRT and the appropriate utilization of these techniques. This year's program presents exciting new developments and evidence for hemodynamic monitoring, fluid management, dialysis timing, and extracorporeal support for critically ill patients. A mix of invited lectures, pro-con debates, interactive workshops, tutorials, poster sessions and panel discussions are planned to continue the tradition of multidisciplinary interactions.

2013 West Lake Forum
West Lake Forum is an annual educational event jointly organized by the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Changzheng Hospital of Second Military Medical University and the First Affiliate Hospital of Zhejiang University. The Forum has been endorsed by the ISN and the ASN. The forum provides an intense three-day learning opportunity for the most up-to-date knowledge in a wide range of clinical nephrology. Since its inception in 2012, it has been extremely well-received by nephrologists in China and from abroad.
